Another part of punctuation is capital letters and small letters. Anybody can really do as they please about that and in English printing one may say that they always have.

This is what it was supposed to look like...

Dry Spell

we’re back to the
same question again
pulled out from where it
was sleeping in the
backseat of the car

sometimes it’s easier
to talk about things
while staring out the
window at the world
beyond the concrete

but neither of us
knows exactly what
to say or how to solve
this problem racing
forward alongside the
yellow painted lines

and so we just focus
on the surroundings
and search for
insight in the fields
and the fruit stands

of course!  right after i pay off the $750 bucks I still owe for spring tuition.
