Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile,
To have squeezed the universe into a ball
To roll it toward some overwhelming question
To say: "I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all"

I would say the more you can do with the least amount of words the more we may be impressed.  I would still leave it open for Sana to suggest a limit if she wishes.

okay 1000 words max, anything over that disqualifies as flash fiction. if I were you, I wouldn't make it that long though. just saying...

The father deleted your posts and mine for a reason. Now these two are gone.

Dude. When I humiliate poasters I don't need to delete poasts.

Your assumptions may lead you into deep doo doo.

Would you like to see how I treat assumptive windbags?
As an admin, I mean?

In the meantime? Try looking on the first page of this announcement:

http://literarymary.com/forum/announcements/the-first-ever-flash-fiction-contest-at-literarymary

...then go from there.

I'll be waiting for my apo - logy.
I deleted nothing. Not one fucking thing.
And? If you push me? You will be rather sorry you did.

Nothing is deleted at Mary.

But, I can fuck with your poasts.
I mean. If that's what you want?

Yah it confuses me sometimes too.  It's that the original post repeats on the top of every new page.

This is exciting. I haven't written flash fiction in an age.

Now I'll be a nervous wreck for the next few weeks trying to think of something.

Thanks for the opportunity, though. I hope to take advantage of it. After all, prose is where I actually have a shred of ambition. Poetry is usually me spilling my seed on the carpet.

I wrote something for this today.

Thank you. Thank you so much for the idea.

I'm still editing. It's weird, actually editing my work. It's a new experience for me.

I'll have it to you soon, dahling.
