I'm Shana, I'm a girl, and it seems like I'm probably one of the youngest people around here.. I'm 18. [Almost 19, but I should stop saying that]. I live in the U.S. now, though I grew up mostly in India. I attend a college in New England. But right now I'm in Washington state, where my uncle lives.

The last time I introduced myself here, I went all-out in a rather exhibitionistic fashion. This time.. I think I won't. It's nice to be part of a smaller, newer, more private Literary Mary now though. Honestly, it was a little bit difficult figuring out where to begin before. I didn't really post that much.

Hm, what else? I've been writing since forever, though these days most of the writing I do is in my journal. I used to write a lot of poems and beginnings of stories, but it seems harder to do that now. I also used to read more. Anyway..

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

journals are so much better than blogs. Letters are so much better than emails. One day we'll all have sticks stuck to our heads and we'll just communicate by jamming these sticks into a wireless box. Keep writing on paper and be done with the trees.

I feel like Mary has become more like a bike shed where a bunch of misfits hang out smoking.

Welcome (back?) don't be a stranger. There is currently an open submission for the next LiteraryMary book.

Hello and welcome back.

Don't go into the shed with red.  Just... just don't.

It's nice to have you here.

Amen.

Hi, Shana. Nice to see you in this different lighting.

Hi Shana, welcome to Mary dahling. I sweep the floors around here, when there's nothing better to do. Look forward to reading your scribbles.

Aw, thanks everyone for the warm welcome Smiley

Redperil ~
Actually, *bites lip* I write in my online journal, not my (various) paper ones.. I mean, I guess I sometimes do handwrite journal entries, but not very often at all. I've probably completely disappointed you now, hah. Oh well. I think my online journal is a lot like a paper journal, though, just because it's not a blog at all in the conventional sense of the term... it's really a diary, and not visible to the public.
I really liked the dreaminess of your hello, though!
As for the misfits in the bike shed thing, that's interesting to know Smiley I don't smoke, but it could be a cool place to hang out. heh.

Jenifer ~ I'll heed your advice!

Patrick ~ hello :]

Sana ~ it's nice to meet you too, and I think calling people *dahling* rather than *darling* is a good quality to have. Smiley
