I was wondering what your honest opinion is on ebook as publishing outlet. I'm on about the likes of Noble, Samhain (I think that's the right spelling), Blood Moon etc. The one's that offer Royalties (Noble offers an advance, but seems to be the only one).

I know a lot of authors who published through ebook (I'm not one), and the cover art and layout look very professional. I also read ebook, but the sales from them can't be very high (unless you're a known).

Would you recommend it?

I'd say this:

There are scads of publishing offers/publishers. Multiply those by infinity and you get the
proportionate amount of writers there are in the world.

As a writer it's nice to see my work in print. Most everything has paid me a nice pat on the back.

Curiously enough, every time I offer that getting paid for my work is my plan I am pooh-poohed by
the freshly scrubbed Em Be Ays who went to college on the mommy and daddy scholarship plan.

What I want is to make money from my written words. Why the fuck not? Limp dick crap heads with not
one moment of real world experience, other than wiping the gravy from their chins at their parent's
ornately decorated dinner table, are raking in sweet deals.

If you want to publish go ahead. But from my experience once you put it on the web it's there
forever, unless you retain 100% rights to it. Same goes with publishing. If, on the other hand, you
are being paid for it, try to make it your own, and still retain rights... if you have a book
someone wants to publish insist upon having the last say. Don't be belligerent about it, just
calmly hold out for what you want.

The other thing is I've known mooks who've published on LuLu dawt calm and
strut around saying they are published.

Well, okay. If you say so.

So, specifically? About those publishers? Not heard of them. But, as I said, that is
what I have to say...

Hope that helps.

That's the kind of honesty I'm after, padre. Thank you.
