It's strange when a writer dies, especially a reclusive one, as although you know they've gone, nothing changes. It's a bit like when J G Ballard died last year. I was sad that he wouldn't be around to give us more books, but there's still so much left to read from his legacy that I'll probably never need new stuff (especially as publishers tend to go grave robbing for anything they can find that hasn't previously been published)
