Phoebe Nir has had work featured in Xenith a few times over the last couple years, but when I found this in my inbox one day I almost exploded. It's so refreshing to see an emerging writer tackle something so affecting with such a playful approach while at the same time remain entirely devastating. I'm very proud to be the magazine that publishes it.
