found the greatest pie crust recipe, i always used butter in pie crusts, but i tried using vegatable fat (the thought of it grosses me out, still does actually)
and it is the flakiest pie crust i have ever had.
its so delicious, i can get over the fact i'm using vegatable fat.

done with college for two weeks, done with all assignments, made a peach pie which is in the oven now.

have a break before changing my room completely, starting tomorrow, started clearing away the insane amount of books, trying to figure out how i'm changing my room, where i can put shelves, the colours i am using and what the fuck to do with the shitty little alcove that for some reason i cannot bring myself to block off.

also, pancake tuesday, this tuesday, FUCK YEAH!

ok, I am aware that the last three posts in this thread are from me, BUT, I don't feel right starting a new thread for this.

fuck you jetlag. fuck you.

BUT, good news!

I got an A- in creative writing (A for portfolio, B for attendance) and I was top of the class! so woo! it is very, very reassuring  Grin

Also, sizzlers is AMAZING. As are air conditioned shops. (oh look, a shop, quick, look like you're interested in the merchendise until I don't feel like I'm dying)

and first ever sunburn. ever. pretty impressive to last to 20 1/2 without a burn. And it wasn't my fault. it was the sun cream, it lied, waterproof my bollocks.

And i wasnt the one who wanted to go to a water park.

and since when is small 500mls America? now all the glasses in my house feel really, really small Sad

I am doing good, I will start a class with my mentor in about 2 weeks, so dreading it as well as excited. I am also super excited to own a tablet on which I can catch up on other kinds of reading, I loaded some eBooks in there, and it is just so nice, I get to be a kid again and play lame games on it, the lamest I found was the ant squisher!! I get to squish little creepy ants of all sizes with my finger as they crawl into the screen.
