Quote
Confused by its simplicity, I watch the rabbit in my yard.
Wishing life was that easy

This is by far the best thing I have read of your work here at LM

It offers me a visual I can relate too, and does not bring just your emotion into the poem, it brings everyone's. We can all relate to looking at nature- animals and envying their apparent simple ways.

The rest of the poem is not for me- for reasons I have pointed out before.

It would not be harmful to bin the poem but keep the above mentioned lines- Sometimes I have to write twenty poems to get just one strong  line that I would be truly happy to keep. You have one here. Build on that, it has plenty of promise.

Best Regards

Vincent deleted it for some reason. Not sure why, but I think he did it while trying to copy the thing...

Oh shit,

big apologies. This was not intentional. I think you are right, I did try and copy the poem, and must have deleted it..... Have not returned to your poem, until now, when I got a email to say there has been a follow up comment. Do you still have the poem, if so please post it again.

I will try and see if I can find it, as it was me who deleted it.

Sorry again

Best Regards

I wonder if Duke knows more about the matter at hand than he is saying.
