Piece by piece
it starts coming back
to you,
a winter coat here,
a printer there,
an alarm clock
someone didn’t need.
Pretty soon,
you may even have
your own place
to stay.

Does it all come
back someday?
And if it does
will it be
completely different
or frighteningly
the same?

Sometimes when i read your work, i feel angry. For reasons of jealousy- you make things look so very simple, there is nothing pretentious, nothing grandiose, or unscrew, the poem is, as it is, there is no glitter here- sometimes i really try to keep my poems like this but often i over expand. You are finding you niche again( not that you lost it, merely thawed it out) great little poem that says a lot more that it first appears to.

best regards

DMH:  Thanks for the thoughts.

Lally:  You made me laugh out loud.  It's older, but not old.  Like you.

Vincent:  Thank you.  I wrote this one a little while back, but it's pretty recent.
