The Master of Forget

So now I think
have I forgotten
certain events in my childhood

Did you manage
to infiltrate

Is that why I fled

My sister called today
spoke of your touch
and how she drank herself into 3 early pregnancies
how it’s only through them
she found herself again

and I had this thought that you
who had seemed my friend
was after more than I ever guessed

and I am damned if recollections
let me know if you
found success with me

and if I
am the master of the forget

How would it look if you omitted all punctuation except for capitalization

Jesus this is really good.

Father Luke and I had a sort of discussion on unpunctuated pieces.  I think that some people can pull it off and others can't.

This works nicely without it.

Hi Danny

another strong poem, that tests and shocks the reader

this series of poems dealing with your recent heartbreak is very well handled, it avoids the sentimental, and as i mentioned on another of your posts covering the same topic the poem does not push the reader away.

I hope the proccess of writing these poems is helping you make sense of the madness and the wrong.

Keep well.

Best Regards

Vincent
