The space between us closes
as her knuckles press
against the small of my back.
There is a blur- maroon arms
painted faces, black pants,and jeans-
as the conflict spills
from a leather lazy-boy
to the carpet below.
A single drop of pain and joy
drips from a closed eye
as my ass devours
a particularly soft pair
of Hanes boxer briefs.
I waddle to the bathroom,
remembering that I love her.

Clear and well articulated but it came across more as a descriptive or narrative passage than a poem : )

Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile,
To have squeezed the universe into a ball
To roll it toward some overwhelming question
To say: "I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all"

T.S. Eliot
